Lose food, lose weight
It won't come as a startling piece of information but to lose weight you just got to lose some food. We eat far more food than we actually need. The rest is turned into fat. There's no escaping it.
A great little idea is to serve food on little bowls or plates. Or at least smaller than the ones you use now.
A bigger idea is to eat foods that your body doesn't burn quickly. Low GI, protein, fiber and wholegrains are good. Eating any vegetable will help in your Diet For Weight Loss, especially greens.

  • You must lose (or at least misplace for a while) sugary foods especially candy.
  • Lose some of those carbs. We eat too many for our bodies. Processed grains - whitebread, white rice, refined corn. Just say no.
  • Lose fat. Try low fat milk and other products. It can take some time but you get used to them and there's no turning back.
  • Lose calories. See lose sugary foods. There's other ways but sugars a great start.
  • Lose salt. Salt retains water in your body. Too much salt, too much water, too much weight.

Add food, lose weight
Hang on, didn't I just say lose food? Well yes, but the number one way to lose weight is through food. Proper Diet For Weight Loss food.
By these I mean fresh fruit and vegetables. Wholegrains, nuts, pulses and seeds. Some meat for Protein. Anything with fiber. You know what they are. You've got to find ways to get more of them into your diet.

Turn To Drink
Water, that is. It keeps you feeling full and is a great distraction. Water is key to any Diet For Weight Loss. Sure it can get a little boring, that's when I squeeze in a little fresh lime or lemon. A more 'adult' water for me is sparkling mineral water. Even green tea, unsweetened black tea and coffee are good for filling you up.
