Diet Program

Have you tried lots (and lots) of Diet Programs? Do you prefer a commonsense approach? Are you more likely to stick to a Diet Program that require quite minor adjustments to your life?

If you answered "yes" to any of these I may just have the weight-loss diet for you.

Like many people concerned about their weight and general wellbeing, I have tried pretty much every diet, every fad product, every new-age treatment, and every so-called expert.

And after this exhaustive ad-hoc study over 25 years I have found the Diet Program that works and is do-able.

Best of all, it won't cost you any more than you currently pay for food. Probably a lot less.

(I should also point out that I am no expert. I have no degree in anything. I am a hard-working office worker with three energetic boys and a loving wife. This Diet Program is the one that works for me. And one that not many people will argue with)

It goes like this:

Eat less, eat better and move more.

Remember this simple phrase and make it your mantra.

Eat less, eat better and move more.

OK, simple so far, but how do you do it. Here's a few simple ideas to make your healthy diet  happen:

  • Eat more protein. This will help satisfy your hunger for longer. So you'll eat and snack less. There's protein in meats of course but also in many other foods such as eggs, cheese and many nuts.
  • Eat less carbs. Just a little less bread, pasta and processed sugars like many breakfast cereals. And don't eat carbs at dinner as your body won't have a chance to burn them off. Oh, and drink less alcohol. Cut it down by at least half.
  • Eat better. Try more natural, unprocessed foods. Think wholegrain, fruit and vegetables, free-range, organic, no preservatives or colourings. You get the picture.
  • Take a walk. Start with half an hour a day. It can be done. Make the time. Really walk...move those arms and legs, get the pulse up.

It really is as simple and easy as that. Just make a few simple tweaks to your current diet and lifestyle and watch the weight fall off and your energy increase.

I know the word 'balance' is over-used but I'm going to use it anyway. This diet is just about balancing your protein and carb intake. It's also about balancing your day with a little exercise.

Since I began on April 1, 2009 eating less, eating better and moving more i have dropped 5 kilos. Some diet programs promise a lot more a lot quicker but they cost you money and are too hard to maintain.

Start using this commonsense Diet Program and enjoy life.
